Easy-To-Use Interface

The Softshare Client Activity Tracking System (CATS) offers a Web-based interface for entering all your client and contact information. You can track all economic development activity with each of your clients and instantly generate reports; send emails to one or multiple contacts; manage conference and workshop attendance; and numerous other tasks. Contact information can be quickly and easily exported to Microsoft Outlook, and all reports are offered in either an HTML format or a comma-delimited format for import into Microsoft Excel. Documents can be uploaded into the 'CATS database and stored with each client record.

Each user has access to their own personalized MyWebCATS window, where they can easily prioritize their work and schedule client follow-ups.

Customized Data Input and Output

You can customize your data input and output in an unlimited number of creative ways. 'CATS supports the ability to create custom searches, custom reports, custom fields and even custom data entry forms. But even amidst all this flexibility, Softshare 'CATS never loses sight of the core data required by your funding agency, letting you instantly and accurately generate the mandatory reports or EDMIS uploads required by the Defense Logistics Agency or Small Business Administration.

The 'CATS Suite of Products

The 'CATS suite of products consists of the administrator tool called Softshare WinCATS® that is used to create new user accounts and establish preferred configuration settings, and the day-to-day WebCATS interface that is used by all users to instantly access key information about your clients. The 'CATS system can be enhanced with a number of add-on modules including the Bid Match module for government contractors; the eCenter module for online client access; and the Activity Forms module for custom data entry forms.
