EDMISRX
The Best Tool for Error Checking & Notification
The EDMISRX add-on module provided to all SBDC and WBC centers offers an automatic, monthly service that not only checks for EDMIS errors in your database but also notifies each of your regional centers of the errors. A distinct advantage of EDMISRX is that it helps you to maintain the health of your database so that your database is error-free before it's time to export your data to EDMIS.
Why EDMIS-Compliant Software Alone is Not Enough
While Softshare 'CATS automatically validates every new record added to the database to make sure it meets the latest EDMIS requirements, errors can still sneak into the database. For example, as per the latest EDMIS definitions, you cannot create a prep-only counseling session for a client if there are no prior sessions in the database for that client that include contact time. If the session with the contact time is deleted from the system after the prep-only session is created, an EDMIS error occurs that you wouldn't know about until it is time to export your data to EDMIS. With EDMISRX you will be alerted to any such error in advance of exporting your data.
