I’d prefer that the MyWebCATS screen not automatically open when I log in. How do I disable it?The MyWebCATS screen, by default, is set to open each time you log in to WebCATS. It’s designed to provide you with a listing of timely events affecting your user account; however, if you prefer to disable the automatic opening of this page, you may do so directly from the MyWebCATS screen itself (View|MyWebCATS). Simply deselect the Show this window upon login? option located at the bottom of the MyWebCATS screen. This will disable the automatic display of the MyWebCATS screen for all future logins. Even though you’ve disabled the automatic display of this screen, you can still access MyWebCATS at any time by selecting it from the WebCATS left-hand menu. A Softshare 'CATS system administrator can disable the automatic display of MyWebCATS for all WebCATS users from WinCATS’ Global Configuration settings. Furthermore, system administrators can also activate or inactivate certain sections of the MyWebCATS screen.
