How can I list out all conferences that were held during a certain period of time, along with the conferences' attendees?WebCATS has two built-in conference reports that will list out conference attendees on a per-conference basis. But before you decide which of these two reports you prefer, the first order of business is to figure out which conferences you want included in the report. The title of this FAQ indicates that you’re interested in isolating conferences for a particular date range so the following set of steps addresses this specifically, but we want you to know for future reference that you are not limited to just a date range criterion. For example, you could isolate all conferences that took place in the last 3 months and were held in your county. Or you could isolate all conferences that took place in the last 3 months, were held in your county, and were sponsored by your center. In essence, you can group almost any combination of conference records and then run a report that lists out those conferences’ attendees. Conference record grouping is done through WebCATS’ subsetting feature, which is discussed in detail in the FAQ titled How do I create a subset?. Now that you know your options, let’s go back to the task at hand—listing out all conferences held during a period of time, along with their attendees. To accomplish this:
